The 24 teams in the Women's World Cup are organized into six brackets of four teams. 

The USA Women are in group F.   The USA got 3 points in game 1 with the win.   Teams get 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and no points for a loss.   The top two teams in each group advance to the next Round of 16 teams consisting of the top two in each group (12 teams) plus the next best four teams.

If the USA win their group F bracket, they will play the runner-up from group B.
